Product: Envy x360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP
I was using my computer when it froze, I pressed control alt delete for task manager and the screen went black. Turned computer off and when I turned it back on it said it was attempting automatic repair - then says it failed and could no diagnose problem. Please help ASAP.

Sounds like a hard drive problem. Immediately after powerin on start tapping the Esc key. This should open a menu where you can select F2 for System Diagnostics to run the tests.
