My Battery wasn't charging on my laptop, so i followed these steps:
Device Manage -> Batteries - Uninstalled Microsoft ACPI-Complient Control Method Battery -> Removed my battery from my laptop - waited about a minute -> put it back in and scanned for hardware changes
now its telling me that its charging again.. the charge (24%) is not going down, but its not going up either, I'm not sure what I can do from here to make it charge instead of stay at 24%

My HP pavilion 1340sa laptop appears not be holding charge and also the battery icon currently says 87% not charging even though the ac power feed is on. It died completely yesterday. I removed the battery and it replaced it sometime later. Although it recharged initially, it lost it's charge after about an hour of use with ac feed on. Help!

So, I have a similiar issue with my laptop. Not only is it not charging but, when checking HP Support Assistant keeps saying that the battery is fine and can hold a charge. But, it is not charging. How can I tell if it is a probem with the motherboard or the battery?

Hi Dariomckvc,
I understand you are having issue with your battery power on your HP 630 Notebook. Here is a document on calibrating the battery. It should help with this issue.

To get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since this is a commercial product.
You can do this at http://h30499.www3.hp.com/hpeb/
Hope this is a help.
Thanks.
