I simply had to go to system restore. That is the only way I could get around it. I restored it while keeping all of the pictures etc....
Now, each and every time there's been an update I mark it as a spot so I know what or where it may go wrong. I've had about 4 and so far so good. I just did one today and it shows 4 more need to be done. The 2nd wouldn't go all the way thru today.
It shows that KB2736693, KB2737084 and KB28717777 and KB2467173 are ready to be downloaded or updated.
I guess I'll do them one at a time and see how it goes.
