Yeah, they changed the little Kudos star - you have to click right on top of the STAR to make the Kudos work.

 

I still miss the star half the time and have to go back and Re-click.  :generic:

I installed a new driver for this same touchpad and now the light is ON when the touchpad is active and OFF when the touchpad is off. I don't want this light to burn out in a day...how do I switch when it is on/off? I saw your tip of using fn + spacebar but that doesn't do anything.

Usually that's how the light works. You shouldn't have any worries about it burning out.

Hello imtiaj,

 

I see that you are having a problem with the touch-pad on your HP computer. Have you tried the steps posted earlier in this thread?

 

The second post in the thread has a visual of how to unlock the touch-pad with your finger. If that doesn't work you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the touch-pad drivers.

 

Let me know if you need help with that or if you have a different issue.
