Elitebook 2570p BIOS Password Lost - Need SMC.bin file

For that model you will need to contact HP and they should be able to send you a customized SMC.bin file which you can use at boot to reset the password.

I tried using the locator to find a locale service locator to help... but the system is broken. My zip code is 93042.

EDIT: AND there was no place to send a request for help that I could find.
