Hi there

I've got the same problem with my Elitebook 8760w after the upgrade to Windows 10. Is there a specific driver for the hotkeys for this model?

Thank you!

Hello,

Please try the link below for hotkey on this model:

Hi Charlotte

In the meantime I installed the driver 6.0.22.1A (sp69911 from 1 Dec 2014) and 5.0.28.1A (sp71790 from 9 Jul 2015) although for other Elitebook models. But F9 and F10 for the screen brightness did still not work properly.

So after your post I uninstalled them and installed the older version 4.5.9.1 (sp56876 from 9 May 2012) from your above link. But unfortunately F9 and F10 are still not working for my model 8760w and Win10.

Any other idea to make them work with Win10?

Thank you

I finally solved the problem with the F9 and F10 keys. In another forum (can't remember which one..) I read to check the status of the monitor in the windows device manager.  Indeed the standard PnP monitor was showing an exclamation mark. I enabled it and after a system restart the F9 and F10 keys worked as expected!

Apparently, after a recent update of the graphic driver, the monitor may be disabled and the F9/F10 for brightness adjustments may not function.

This problem is current ... with build 10565 (Win 10)

Have you tried  "Win Key + P"  to switch screens during a presentation ... it's been available since XP (2002) ..

Just a thought
