I am considering the

HP ENVY 700-215xt Desktop PC

Can I add a second Graphics Card so I can support two monitors?

I want to run Powerpoint Presenter mode with two screens.

As lasvegaswireman stated, most video cards will have at least 3 ports; an hdmi and a dvi and a vga. Some will also have a Displayport port. You can attach 2 hdmi monitors by plugging one into the HDMI port and one in the dvi port using a dvi to hdmi adapter. The signal carried by the video part of dvi is a digital signal identical to hdmi so nothing is lost with the adapter. HDMI also carries audio which you only need with a TV as monitor.

This model has onboard integrated graphics supported by the CPU and a PCIe x16 graphics slot. You can only use the integrated graphics or 1 discrete graphics card. Most current graphics cards support 2 or 3 monitors / displays, so there is no need for a second graphics card.

But there seems to not be a second HDMI port for a second monitor.

So....    How does that work?
