Hello LANfear,
I see that you are having a problem with the 90b cooling fan error on your computer. I have a couple of suggestions that may help with this issue.
Here is a link that shows how to check and clean dust out of the computer. This is one of the common causes of the error message.
If you are uncomfortable opening the computer or if that doesn't help, I would suggest contacting HP since the computer is only a few months old. There is normally a one year factory warranty on the computer.
Here is a link to the contact options for HP.

Hello maha143,
You’re getting an error 90b.
This error is usually given if the fan has gone out and needs to be replaced.
Before you replace the fan, you may try to blow compressed air through the vents.
This might dislodge any dust that is built up in the system.
Let me know how everything goes.

I am getting this message every now and then and I can feel the fan running the whole time im on the computer. I have completely restored my Laptop G4-2149SE and it still pops up. Is there another way to get the message from coming up? Especially if there is nothing wrong with it I dont want to have to send it in. Please respond.

Hello RPerez1214.
It is possible that the computer is detecting a problem with the fan. However, that doesn't mean the fan has failed. It could be on the path to replacment, however.
Have you tried cleaning the cooling system of the notebook to ensure that dust or debris is not blocking the fan? This document can assist you in the process.
Have a great weekend.

Hello nilesh9015.
What is the product number of your notebook? This document can show you where it is located.
Have you tried hard resetting the notebook? Here are the steps.
- Shut down the notebook.
- Remove the battery and AC power.
- Press and hold the power button for 10-15 seconds three times.
- Replace the battery and AC power.
- Verify whether the problem persists.
I'll keep an eye out for the result. Have a great day.
