Hi I have a error code 0x80048802 when using email

This is application issue and not directly related to the operating system or to the computer itself as a hardware.

For better support options you may reach directly with the application (mail client) support team.

 

Could you clarify what application you use for emails ? How to do you reach the email server ? What is the email account you use ?

Hi IT_WinSec,  thanks for the reply. 

 

The email account I am trying to send emails from is my tiscali account, and i am using the default mail application in the pop up menu accessed via the windows icon in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.  I get the error message when I refresh mails. Once refreshed the new emails appear and then the error message apears. I can then close the error message box and open and read the emails but when I try to reply it appears to send emails but nothing gets through to other end. I have tried sending to my other email accounts but nothing gets through.  

 

I am sure this is a simple fix, but i am not tec savi so would appreciate any help.

I did a research on your issue and unfortunately, there was not a specific fix available. This is a problem with the Microsoft apps and a permission issue. Try what is suggested here by Microsoft employee >> https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-other_settings/windows-10-getting-error...

 

If the above does not help, I can suggest you:

- contact Microsoft support

- post in the Microsoft Answers forum for further tips about this problem

 

 

 

 

A workaround I can offer you is to use:

- the web version of your mail service provider  > https://mail.tiscali.it/

- Use a different mail client - start using the reliable free opensource Mozilla Thunderbird (available in many different languages):
