HP Envy model 4-1105dx
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

I have a a usb recovery kit for my  HP Envy model 4-1105dx.  It is inserted into the usb slot. I started the computer tapping F11 and get into the Recovery Screen.  I then tap ESC, but nothing happens. I cannot get into UEFI Firmware settings. Any suggestions?  It shuts off automatically after 2 minutes.
