Does anyone else have this issue, it must be a hardware fault with the HP-USB C Dock. I have an external HDMI monitor connected via this dock. If anyone turns on a plug somwhere else in the building (on the same power ring), the external monitor goes off for 5 seconds and then comes back on. This means there is a power intertuption / noise factor with these HP-DOCK devices, and its a nuisance.

i recommend you open a HP support case. you may have a bad power brick or dock

I work for HP. However, all opinions and comments are my own.
