i can't able to write any cd , dvd in my laptop .every time when i am trying it is saying needed latest firmware. my dvd/cd rom is hp CDDVDW TS-U633J SCSI CdRom device

Hi Vkanth,
Thank you so much for the additional information about your system. I recommend using the HP Support Assistant to update the drivers and software for your machine. The software and drivers for your Notebook are here. You will also notice under the BIOS there is an update to be done. This should help with your machine not seeing DVD. Have you tried a music CD just to check the hardware? If needed here is a hardware test to run on your Notebook.
