i have been trying to reset my laptop to its factory settings but i cant see the recovery manager, it just take me to restore to image or a restore point i did before. i made a windows repair disc   as well and it didnt work 

i appreciate if you can help me in anyway.

Tap away F2 key as soon as you power on laptop. Do extensive hard drive and memory tests. Let it finish.

Your laptop has come with recovery partition. Your should've created HP Recovery USB after first setup of this notebook. You can use this.

i did a repair disc that has windows 7 on it  from the the left side bar on the backup and recovery tab.  Tried booting the system now following the steps on the second link. But the black menue is not appearing there is no recovery manager option to click on so that i. Reset it to the factory settings. I read on some sites that i should putchase the recovery manager to reset the laptop
