Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been using fingerprint (FP) recognition to login without problem. This was set up through HP Client Security app. After latest Windows 10 Creators update the FP recognition does not work. HP Client Security reports no FP credentials are set up. When I try and add them, it will not capture my FP. The driver is Synaptics FP Sensors 4.5.340.0 dated 13/03/2017 and reports "This device is working properly." I did try to delete the driver from Device Manager, in order to try and reinstall it, but the delete seems to have failed as it re-appears after reboot. I downloaded version 4.5.341 from the HP web site (worryingly it appears to be from 2015), but I cannot install it as it says a driver is already installed. So, I'm not sure what I can do next?
