So I stupidly tried to update the BIOS as recommended by the HP support software
I was counting on hard reset if it fail
However it got stuck on a black screen with blue box saying 'Flashing Boot Block - 89%'
The power button will not work when that screen is on and i cannot hard reset either
I left for 1 1/2 day and no progress
Please help thank you

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community!
I came across your post about the Notebook, and wanted to assist you! I have looked into your issue about your HP ENVY 15t-j000 Notebook and issues with the Flashing boot block. I recommend to restore the BIOS defaults.You could restore the BIOS with this document selecting the reloading the BIOS default settings. That way it will look at the Hardware installed on the Notebook.
✔️If that is not a help upon first starting the Notebook press and hold Windows key and b.
✔️Just keep holding it.
✔️Once your sure nothing is happening restart the Notebook.
✔️This should restore the last configuration of the BIOS.
Please let me know how this goes.

Hey @Marchera,
You could also try to remove the RTC battery. Leave it out for 2 hours.
If that does not help you could try to https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers
