hi,

 

could i have a driver link for my dv9700 cto nvidia 8600m gs running on windows 7 64bit that would not crash

 

everytime i install the latest driver for it, my system crashes and i have to do a system restore, ending up with just the standard vga driver

Go to Nvida site and use the "Auto Detect your GPU" to find best recommended driver:

What was the free Upgrade to Windows 7 period. I bought my 64bit in July 2007

oh well... i guess i just have to wait on the forum for dv9700 issues... i had already paid hp service center in the past for this... now i have to pay some more huh

 Any system purchased from June 26, 2009 to January 10, 2010 was eligible for the free upgrade.Orders for the upgrade kit were accepted from June 26, 2009 until February 15, 2010.
