Thank to user EricRo I was able to solve the problem reported in https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Video-Display-and-Touch/HID-Compliant-Touch-Screen-Driver-Mis... 

I tried installing several drivers, but the group of drivers that solved it was the Driver-Controller. One of the drivers failed, but the other two installed successfully. After the necessary restart I went to the driver manager and all the HID-compliant drivers were there, under the human interface section.
