What you will need is HP Recovery Media.  his is a set of DVDs and a CD that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, settings, and applications, reinstall the original OS, drivers, and some HP Utilities. In some cases, you may be able to order a USB stick instead of disks.  You have to order these from HP; they can not be downloaded.

You can look online for Recovery Media starting with the linked paged: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Once there, input your Product name or number. On your Software and Drivers Download page, select your Operating System and and Version. Click "Update".  If HP Recovery Media is available for your machine, down near the bottom of the page, you will see an entry for Order Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB. Click the "+" symbol to expand that entty and click on Order Media for details.

Or, if you prefer, you can do the same by contacting HP Customer Service:

If you live in the US or Canada, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

Note that if HP no longer provides Recovery Media for your model, a couple of other sites you can check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/  and http://www.restoredisks.com/

Be sure to read through the material in the linked thread BEFORE you attempt the recovery:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00707939

Good Luck

HI,

IS THERE ANY OTHER OPTION FOR ME TO DOWNLOAD PRE INSTALLED WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM OA 64 BIT WITHOUT ORDER RECOVERY MEDIA CD?

ACTUALLY I WAS GIFTED THIS PC BY MY SISTER, SHE IS IN NEWYORK BUT I AM NOT. I LIVE IN BANGLADESH. IF I ORDER FOR THE RECOVERY DISC IT WILL TAKE LONG TIME TO REACH IN HERE (BANGLADESH). I KNOW SHE WILL RECIVE THE DISK IN SHORT TIME IN NY BUT RIGHT NOW IT WILL BE DIFFICULT FOR HER TO SEND ME THE DISK FROM NY TO BANGLADESH.

I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. PLEASE HELP ME OUT.

THANK YOU.

The answer was given already. No, there is no such possiblility to do that. Your going to have to buy the HP REcovery media to restore it. That is your only choice to reset to factory install.

Problem here is if they don't know how what or how to install the drivers this still will not help them. Buying the HP recovery disk through HP or 3rd party OEM party - would get them back up and running faster. They have the Product Key but that only install Windows not all the drivers they need. And I know for a fact they will come back and ask what drivers and software do they need to get everything working and this will only compound the problem.

@PeerOne

Yes, people come here everyday asking for driver support. Some members actually enjoy the challenge of finding even drivers not posted.:)

All of the Dv6 7020us drivers for Windows 7 are posted on the Support page. As long as an audit is done of Device Manager in Windows 10 to determine which Network drivers are needed it should be fairly straight forward for the rest.
