am using an hp 630 notebook with windows ultimate 64bit. my webcam and mic were working just fine, but one day they just didnt work,,,,the device mananager only shows "cyberlink WebCam Virtual driver" and when i open cyberlink youcam it just says"no webcam detected, Try Plugging in a webcam to your Computer Now. If you are using an integrated camera, make sure that it is turned on". what solution do you have for me? i have the latest audio and video drivers installed for the 630 notebook model.

I have the same problem... The in-built cam was working just fine and one day it decided to stop! Just now I have performed factory reset and have downloaded the YouCam software from HP Website, tried installing it but I get the same Error. It is so frustrating!.
Kindly help.
Thanks.

Hello ADL_DHL
I am sorry to hear you are having issue with your webcam and would like to offer this assistance. I am linking you the HP Support document Fixing Webcam After Changing the Operating System . As your webcam does not show up in the Device Manager I would like to you jump to Step 3 and follow the instructions. If after you have completed them the webcam still does not show up in the Device Manager than I would recommend that you contact HP Technical Support for repair options as you may have a possible hardware failure.

I would like to thank you for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!
