I have the same problem... The in-built cam was working just fine and one day it decided to stop! Just now I have performed factory reset and have downloaded the YouCam software from HP Website, tried installing it but I get the same Error. It is so frustrating!.

Kindly help.

Thanks.

Hello ADL_DHL

I am sorry to hear you are having issue with your webcam and would like to offer this assistance. I am linking you the HP Support document Fixing Webcam After Changing the Operating System . As your webcam does not show up in the Device Manager I would like to you jump to Step 3 and follow the instructions. If after you have completed them the webcam still does not show up in the Device Manager than I would recommend that you contact HP Technical Support for repair options as you may have a possible hardware failure.
