Follow the tutorial on the following Microsft web document.
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-usb-recovery-drive
Once you have created the usb recovery drive you can boot to it and perform a factory image recovery. That will put your notebook back in the state it was in when you took it out of the box.

Read the Microsoft tutorial on creating the recovery drive. That is why I provided the link in my last post.
Create the usb recovery drive and boot to it.
When you boot to it, the Recovery manager should be invoked.
Use it to perform a factory image recovery.
That will recreate the original partitioning scheme.

I followed the tutorial but when I go to 'Create a Recovery Drive' I am not able to tick the box bellow.
Eg Note
"The checkbox is greyed out when your PC doesn’t have a recovery partition. The recovery drive will include only the recovery tools and a bootable image, but not a recovery image to use for refreshing or resetting your PC."
Is is still possible to restore or even reinstall HP software from here?
Regards

If that is the case then it appears that you are out of luck. The recovery partition is no longer viable if the option to make a recovery partition from one already present is not there.
You can purchase a usb recovery flashdrive from HP or an HP partner.

What was the original OS that was installed?
Obtaining recovery discs or an HP USB recovery flashdrive.
