HP G62-358CA Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I own a "HP G62-358CA Notebook PC" bought in 2011, I want to change its Hard Drive for

Crucial MX300 525GB SATA 2.5 Inch Internal Solid State Drive

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01IAGSD68/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&psc=1

and also upgrade its memory installing 2 modules:

8gb (2x4gb) Memory RAM for Hp G Notebook G62-367dx, G62-371dx, G62-372us Ddr3 by CMS

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00OS8CD3W/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A1X44CXPYKK87E&psc=1

Just need to confirm I am buying the correct models for my laptop.

My laptop model is: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-g62-300-notebook-pc-series/4247529/model/4327329/document/c0...

Please can someone help with this question ?

Thank you,

GV

Yeah in theory. The memory is certainly correct. The SSD is the right kind. Users have reported more issues with the Crucial MX series of SSDs than others on HP laptops. I recommend a Samsung Evo 850 model.
