HP Pavilion G6-2302AX Laptop

Hi,

 

I have bought HP Pavilion G6-2302AX Laptop on feb 2013...... Suddenly, yesterday there is screen problem. There is a vertical line showing in the display with different colour in the full screen...........I am able to operate the laptop correctly but the problem is with the screen showing vertical lines...........Could you provide the solution.....me worried....will be waiting for your reply........

Hello and welcome to the HP support forums. From what you are describing here sounds as if you may have a screen crack that has happened.  Usually will notice a line with colors on either side of the line.

 

Before we jump to that conclusion though here are a couple of things to check here.

 

Troubleshooting problems with notebook displays (Windows 8, Windows 7)

 

Use our HP PC Hardware Diagnostic Tools to self diagnose PC issues 

 

If you are not able to resolve this screen issue with the information in the links provided.  Please post back with your full product number and I will see if there are any other options for you.

Hi,

  

   I have followed all the steps you have provided but screen problem remains the same...... and a pink colur is showing in the full screen....... but when i play video slowly the vertical line disappear but the pink colour still remain in the background...... i feel very uncomfortable with my eyes when i work on my laptop...... is there any other solutions.

Thank you for posting back. At this point you may be looking at a cable or motherboard issue related to the video card.  Your best best would be to contact Phone support for repair options.
