i have had the notebook for about 8 months now and right from the beginning it has always been a bit slow to load pages and basically process anything. However, over the last month it has got increasingly worse to the point where it can take up to 45 seconds just to load a web page. when i type the letters take up to 5 seconds to appear and lag behind.
I have changed my antivirus from Macaffe as that was taking up a lot of my 2GB memory, which helped a bit, but not much. I am at the point of rebooting the whole system but as the system was never realy fast from the start im not sure what good it wil do. I have done all updates as suggested as well.
Any ideas?

Truthfully, this is a badly underpowered machine that is never going to provide much user joy. The memory cannot be upgraded and the processor is painfully weak. A clean fresh install of bare Windows 10 with just the drivers, and reducing the visual effects settings to the lowest levels, and installing a very light security suite like Avira might make it useful for simple web browsing email and word processing.
Post back if you have any more questions.

if this is the case, as you have stated, then it would seem i have wasted my money, although even with the memory and processor being under powered surely the computer should reraxct quicker to basic tasks. I will continue to explore resolutions.
