Hi,

 

I recently bought this laptop and I have problem with it, I cant install LAN or WLAN driver on it so I cant use internet.

in device manager  I have:

 

Network Controller   (ID: PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_1795103C&REV_01)

PCI device (ID: PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5229&SUBSYS_183E103C&REV_01)

PCI simple comunications controller  (ID: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E3A&SUBSYS_183E103C&REV_04)

Universal serial bus (USB) controller  (ID: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E31&SUBSYS_183E103C&REV_04)

Unknown device (ID: ACPI\HPQ0004)

 

I've downloader drivers from this site but they wont work here's what I tried:

 

Chipset

intel chipset installation utility

Intel USB 3.0 host controller driver

 

Network Driver:

Intel Wiereless driver

broadcom bluetooth 4.0 driver

realtek Local Area Network (LAN) driver

 

My Spec:

Model: HP Pavilion g6-2012em

chipset: Mobile Intel HM76 express chipset

CPU: Intel i7  3612QM

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7670

RAM: 6GB (4GB + 2GB)

LAN adapter: Realtek Fast Ethernet LAN 10/100 Mbps

WLAN adapter: Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2200

Thank you for your replay. After few frustrating hours of mandeling I managed to get internet trough a tablet pc using USB port with that and HP support assistant I was able to install needed drivers.

Glad you got it sorted out.

 

It is hard to install drivers when HP doesn't include all of them on the support and driver page, and the linked driver to the card reader is for the wired network adapter!
