I have an HP Pavilion, model g7 2243us, which is 1 year old, & running on Windows 8. I keep it plugged into the electrical outlet all the time. Three days ago, I noticed that the power connection light was blinking red, when it is normally steady white. When I scrolled over the battery icon, it said "98% available, plugged in, not charging". However, the pc operated normally, so I did not think it was a problem. Then, last night, it went into sleep/hibernation, & shut off completely, no lights at all, & not responding to anything. I tried disconnecting, & reconnecting to the power outlet, & it woke up, & went straight to my desktop. I did not have to re-sign in, & everything I'd had up was still there, not cleared as happens with a shut-down. The indicator light was a steady white again, & has remained so, but I still have the "plugged in, not charging" message. Last night, after the  wake-up, it was at 97% available, & today is at 96%. I cannot think what is causing this, is it something I should be concerned about? In all other aspects, the pc is working perfectly
