I've tried re-installed the driver you linked me but it's the same problem. Halfway through the installation process the computer crashed and the blue screen prompted up.

I'm pretty sure I have installed everything correctly. Clean windows, clean hard drive. formatted everything and installed drivers first thing after windows. So it has to be something wrong with the driver really.

Same here, no luck with clean installation.

Hello again myanlien and mat159

I am sorry the Windows 8.1 driver did not work for you as I had hoped. I have another Ralink Bluetooth driver here that was released on October 22, 2013 that I would like you to try. This is a newer driver than the previous one that was listed for your product that I hope will resolve your issue.

I hope this finally resolves your issues and again would thank you for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

Hi,

No luck this time either.

I guess we have to just wait and see if win 8.1 is going to get more driver-friendlier. I remember when I was using win 7 nothing bad ever happened. I wasn't using bluetooth back then (and even now) but I think the driver went OK. And I also know a lot of my friends who are having a bad time with their drivers on win 8.1.

With this newer driver I still get BSoD.
So we must wait for either Microsoft or HP to relese some patches or fixed drivers.

What kind of problem you are facing Hassan? Are you able to find Bluetooth in Device Manager?
