Hi,

after Windows 7 Enterprise 64Bit installation, we have one missing driver left:

ACPI\SKTD000

I have installed nearly every driver from the driver page but this one is still missing. Can anybody give me a hint?

thanks!

Hi,

This is the Intel NFC device.  You need softpaq sp60789.

You may have already tried to execute that softpaq. Unfortunately it currently has a small issue: it expect to have a directory called c:\system.sav  to output its log. If that directory is missing it will simply fail to install.

As a temporary workaround you could either:

  • simply create the C:\system.sav\logs directory, run the softpaq, then delete the directory.
  • Or after running the sp60789 softpaq, that failed, go in c:\swsetup\sp60789 and modify the nfc4.bat file and change the location of the logfile to say %temp%\NFCLOG.txt, then execute setup.exe or nfc4.bat
  • Or  you could simply dig down to c:\swsetup\sp60789.exe\Intel\Win7\FRE\x64\ and execute IntelPROSetWirelessNFCSoftware.msi

Best regards

Windows 7 x86 \ 32bit Revolve 810

I was able to install this by  pointing the driver to C:\SWSetup\sp61535\eb_810_1.00\x86_win7\driver - keyboard, mouse and input devices\intel\sp60789. The procedure should be similar for x64.

Open deivce manager,

Right click unknown device (ACPI\SKTD000),

choose update driver software,

choose browse

Point to the extracted location of SP61535 or sp60789

I had to rename the MSI file  from "IntelPROSetWirelessNFCSoftware.msi" to "IntelPRO Set Wireless NFC Software.msi"

The log said that it could not find "IntelPROSetWirelessNFCSoftware.msi" when I tried to run setup.exe.
