Hello, @jasonls86

I'd like to jump in with a suggestion!

I'd suggest you perform a battery test to make sure the hardware is good. Here are the steps:

1)      Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

2)      Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc to get the Startup menu. Now press F2 key.

3)      The HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu is displayed.

4)      Select the "Component test" and then select "Battery test" from the list.

5)      Let me know if the test passes or not.

Let me know how that goes!

Good luck 🙂

As I have mentioned in my previous posts I have tried this and I do not have this option in my bios hardware test.  I press esc and then f2 and this is the screen I get:

My only options are hard drive and memory test

Hello, @asonls86

Did you update the HP UEFI (Hardware diagnostics page)?

If not, go to http://hp.care/2nxOalt and update the UEFI as mentioned under "Installing the latest version of HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI)".

Once done, try performing the tests again.

Thanks, Thanks, I look forward to hearing back from you!

Cheers 🙂

Hello, @jasonls86

I'd suggest you contact the HP phone support to get further assistance or for service options.

HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: http://h22207.www2.hp.com/us-en/?openCLC=true

(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.

(2) Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.

(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.

(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!

Good luck 🙂
