Brand new Spectre x360 and brand new iPhone 6S+.
USB connect between the two -- iPhone is recognized at connect, but no network adapter is seen, so no internet connection is possible. In WiFI mode, iPhone is seen as a WiFi network; but "can't connect to this network" is the error message when trying to connect.
Same USB iPhone hotspot connection works perfectly on Lenovo Y50, so it's not an Apple problem.
Any and all help is appreciated, as this x360 is needed in an area without landlines.

UPDATE:
Problem solved in two steps:
#1 New PC did not have iTunes installed. Installed iTunes then went to network diagnostics - diagnose as Administrator and USB connection worked.
#2 New iPhone creates a new hotspot password. New PC had connected earlier with an old iPhone and old password. Changing the new password back to the old password worked.
But I did want a new password, so: Used Manage Wireless Networks and deleted iPhone, then I was able to connect using WiFi and enter the new password.
