Not sure about the BIOS update, how do I do that manually on my HP Stream 11? It was maybe done earlier by HP Support Assistant, however I can't use it now since I don't have connection to internet.

Download the bios on a usb stick

Copy the bios on the desktop and run the update

the system boot itself wait for a reboot

I installed bios F.08 from usb, however that didn't help unfortunately... still no WIFI.

I don't have LAN becasue HP Stream 11 doesn't have an ethernet port.

Unfortuantely it doesn't work because it doesn't show the HARDWARE, or WIFI ADAPTER present, it is blank... 😞

This is not an isolated problem, many laptops lost wifi adapters after windows 10 upgrade, the thing is that it is almost 3 months from the release of Windows 10, not counting a really long beta/insider program, and netiher Microsot or HP still didn't solve the problem...

I am having this exact same problem.  I've tried installing the driver but it does not help.

The system thinks there is no LAN adapter installed.
