When I start up my hp pavilion g6 it would show hp loading screen but nothing happens. I check the side and the hard drive light is not on. I recently installed windows 8.1 and the issue started from there. During the installation process for windows 8.1 the hard drive light will bail and I had to shut down (holding down power button) then turn it on for it to continue the installation.

I understand that your notebook is not starting correctly, or freezing during startup. I am happy to assist with this.

How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?
