Learning how to use notebook in the process of wanting to play CDs. The spindle's seems too large for the CD to fit over it. Is there something I need to do first? I see the teeth around the spindle should they compress as the CD is lowered over it?
Thanks for your response in advance.

Hi,
Normally it has 3 small latches, they are there to keep the CD sit properly. Should be ok, just press the CD, you may be able to hear a "click".

Thank you very much, I was afraid to apply pressure after reading your answer and a line from the manual I had the nerve to do as told and it worked. Didn't want to have a repair bill and be too heavy handed. Very satisfied now.
