HP Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As I lifted the screen of my HP Envy x360 today the left hinge popped apart and cracked my screen.

I am shocked that it would break like this considering I take very good care of the laptop. It has never been dropped or bumped. I have only ever used it at home and almost never use it in tablet mode.

According to my serial number the warranty expired last week, but I believe HP should repair or replace it free of charge considering the price of the laptop and the level of care I have given it.  It seems like this is a known issue with this laptop model, as I have found several others that had similar issues such as those linked below.

I agree. But, you will need to make official contact with HP Support, because this is a discussion forum, and it seems to be rarely visited by HP employees.
