Hi,
I've doubled checked and the code seems to be correct for the 'halt code' you've posted - it's always worth making sure of the following.
You've posted the correct halt code
You're using a qwerty keyboard to enter the code
You've entered the code correctly - ie you haven't entered a upper case letter 'O' instead of Zero.

Hey David,
I stumbled apon this thread and I hope you can help me. I also have a HP G62 and I tried everything and I can't clear the cmos.
After 3 failed attempts I get code: 90084715. Can you please help me. I appreciate anything you can do.
