How do I disable forced softwre updates?  I am losing an incredible amount of time restarting files and programs I am in the process of working on when the PC automatically reboots.

Hi,

It is nearly impossible to stop automatic updates in windows 10 for now. Next month with the "creators update" this should again become possible. However you can set a time frame where you do not want reboots to take place, which will limit most reboots to a certain hour. If you go into settings by clicking on the notification area and on settings. Go  to windows update and you will see options for working hours and planning "restarts". Naturally they are not always respected.

Hope it helps,

David
