Hey readers, i got a HP laptop, running windows 7 x64 bit Ultimate, and has 8 GB of ram. My tv is crappy now, and want to play my ps3, so, i was wondering if i can plug into my Laptop and get a certain driver that makes the HDMI port act as a input so i can play through my laptop screen, my resolution can go a liitle over 720p

 

Help, please!!!

Welcome to the forums.  So that I can help you out better. Is this the hp 3125 base model notebook that you had the issue with erlier.  If not can you please provide the product number of the system you are working with. 

 

Find your product number.

 

If it is the same product as before you will want to try the commercial forums.

 

Commercial support forums.

 

But for the  most part you can not convert an HDMI output into an input the system is just not designed to handle that.
