HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-cn0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I have an HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15m-cn0xxx notebook and a couple of months ago a small amount of soda spilled on the flat-top keyboard. Thank goodness everything still works fine. However,  a few keys (specifically the 4/$ and f9/rewind key) are sticky when they click. It is very annoying.

So my question is how do I clean them so they aren't sticky? Should I gently pop them off and clean the underside, or just forget about it? I want to keep my computer in the best shape.

Thanks!

Follow the below to clean the keyboard.

· Clean the keyboard with compressed air (blow compressed air in the gaps between keys). This removes some lint and dust.

· Shut down the laptop, remove the battery and cable for a moment, press and hold the start button for 60 seconds

· Replace the battery, restart the notebook,

If nothing works, you can find the part number on the HP Parts Surfer & replace the parts on the HP Parts Store.

Or write back to me for alternate solutions to getting it fixed via HP

we don't replace specific keys, you will need to replace the entire keyboard via HP

Keep me posted, how it goes!
