Hello @Just3

Welcome to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting. 🙂

Most business class notebooks (including yours Elitebook and Probook) have better security. BIOS password cannot be removed here in the forum - you will have to contact HP Business Support for assistance on removing the password.

Here is how:

HP Business support should be able to send you a customised SMC.bin file and instructions which you can use  to reset the password. Note that assistance for such issues is usually free of charge for HP business class computers. If you are asked for a charge, post again and ask for your case to be escalated to tier II.

How it works:

You contact HP Business support

Level 1 agent collects all the information from you

Level 1 agent will eventually escalate the case to tier 2 engineer

Tier 2 engineer will contact you via email after several days with instructions

Technical details will be provided by HP or can be found here >> https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Boot-and-Lockup/BIOS-not-accessible/m-p/6057462/highlight/fal...

Hope this helps. Please, mark the post as a solution if it helped.

Let me know if you face any difficulties.
