Hello,

 

I got my laptop with windows 7 starter pack and now I want to upgrade it to windows 10. It asks me to validate windows first before upgrading it to 10. please help and guide me the way to do that.

I am not certain that Windows 7 starter pack is qualified or not but it has to be a SP1 version.  Other than that it should let it be upgraded.

Windows 7 Service Pack 1 is required before you can upgrade using Windows Update. But all PCs sold with Windows 7, even pre-SP1, qualify for the upgrade
