I did reply to your post regarding the chipset driver.
You can use the one I posted from Intel or the one that the Intel driver update utility gave you.
The lastest chipset driver that will be installed is 9.4.0.1017, which will also be included in this file I posted.
File name: infinst_autol.exe | Version: 9.4.0.1017 |

Paul wrote

This link which u have sent is sp49104.exe. while searching for latest hp quick launch buttons for windows 7. i found latest is sp49456.exe and supersedes is sp49104. Here is the link of sp49456.exe
So please share ur opinion on this --- shall i proceed with sp49456.exe or stick with sp49104.exe which u mentioned?
or provide link with latest one which is compatible with my system (dv6330ea) and OS(Windows 7 32-bit).

Hi Paul,
i am sorry for asking again and again regarding intel pro/wireless driver. i was about to download from intel which u have mentioned but found a note at bottom of the page of intel that
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OEM-supplied versus Intel® provided generic software:
Intel recommends that you obtain and use the software provided via your laptop manufacturer.
Intel is a supplier of laptop components and does not manufacture or sell complete laptop systems. The software provided by Intel below is a generic version. Each laptop computer original equipment manufacturer (OEM) may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to the software or software packaging they provide. The software provided has not been verified by your laptop manufacturer as to compatibility or other operation.
Intel or the laptop computer original equipment manufacturer (OEM) may not provide technical support for some or all issues that could arise from the usage of this software.

Therefore i was wandering to install from HP. com only and not from Intel for Wireless driver issue.
So while searching in google i found sp58782.exe is the latest for Intel Wireless Drivers for Microsoft Windows 7 in HP.com. when u click on sp58782.exe then check on revision history it is updating this drivers from Version: 13.3 (3 Sep 2010) till Version: 15.2.0.19 (12 Sep 2012)
If u just check previous version release of sp58782.exe then u fine these details mentioned in release notes that
HP Pavilion dv5 Notebook PC Series
HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC Series
HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC Series
ETC.....................
My model is HP Pavilion dv6330ea Notebook PCs-- so this MATCH
Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 Network Connection
Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965
Intel WiFi Link 5300
Intel WiFi Link 5100
Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200
Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300
Intel WiFi Link 1000
Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6250
Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6350
My device is Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG-- so this MATCH
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 32 Edition
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64 Edition
ETC.....................
My system is Windows 7 Prof. 32bit-- so this MATCH
So i think sp58782.exe will work in my system. Also from intel it is just generic driver whereas hp altered the feature. etc.
My opinion is proceed with download sp58782.exe rather that intel generic driver.
So i need your opinion/views on it.
Shall i proceed with sp58782.exe or stick with intel version as u mentioned link.

Hi:
If you feel more comfortable downloading the Latest HP driver for your Intel wireless card, go for it.
I always use the latest driver from Intel on my Intel wireless cards and have never run into any problems.
Regarding the QLB driver.
You can probably install the latest version.
Do you use the HP Wireless assistant program (you may want to if you want to turn the bluetooth on and off separately to save battery power.
You cannot use the latest W7 version. I tried it on my dv6810us when I upgraded to W7 and it didn't work.
I had to experiment with several versions and this one from the HP 6910p finally worked for me.

Is it necessary to download Hp Wireless Assistant for intel wireless driver?
Because i have noticed it in my last experience that after installing hp wireless assistant i was unable to open the program, to toggle between ON/OFF for wireless and bluetooth. i am not sure which spxxxx.exe i had installed at that time.
So my queries is that apart from turn on/off feature what is use of hp wireless assistant?
What are the methods to turn on/off manually for wireless and bluetooth? i tried so many methods but dint work till last.

If you want to make sure that all drivers are updated and that you are installing the correct driver updates, why not use a tech software which will automatically do it for you?
You can use RadarSync or any other PC driver updater out there. However, it won't work if you don't have the driver installed in your computer yet though.

Hi:
The HP W/A is not necessary to have, but if you find the right version to work, then you would use it to turn wireless devices off without having to either use the button or to disable in the device manager.
And you are 100% correct...I had the same problem trying to find the right version of the W/A to get my BT to switch off and on using the software.
I could switch it off but then I couldn't turn it back on. It was very hard to find the right driver. It was an older version that worked. I know that installing the latest version did not work and caused the issue I referenced above.
I think I provided you with the version that should work correctly.

Hi Paul,
As u mentioned in your previous post that
This is the wireless driver I would install (second one on the list...
15.8.0 -------- 5/23/2013
http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wtech/proset-ws/sb/CS-034041.htm
Installed this file in my system.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After installing just to recheck i have rescanned my system with Intel Driver Update Utility and found that
Wireless Networking (WiFi)------(Newer Driver Available)
Why it is showing previous version available i.e 15.3.1 whereas i have installed latest 15.8.0.0?
What should i do now? Shall i uninstall 15.8.0.0 and install 15.3.1?
Please reply...
