Hello,
I actually have an issue with the camera of my HP probook 4540s
I bought this computer about a year ago, and I had a trouble with the screen, so I sent it back to HP. But first I took back the datas I really needed from the Harddrive. When I sent it, the harddrive was still out of the computer, because they told me not to put it back in.
When I recieved it, they didn't put the harddrive back in the computer, so I had no windows, no HP programms nothing on it. I had to reinstall windows, which is what I did, but since then, the camera (and the microphone) are not working anymore.
I installed every driver that was given on the hp website for my probook, but it still doesn't work. I installed AMD cataclyst control center too, and the intel drivers, and the universal camera driver, still not working (neither does the microphone).
Can you help me to fix this problem ?
I already apologize if I did some grammar or pelling mistake, english is not my native language.
Thank you already

Hello, thank you for your quick answer.
Unfortunately, my webcam is not listed in the device manager list. And since I had to format everything and reinstall windows and the HP softwaress, I don't have any backup.
May HP have unplugged the camera when the computer was sent back to warranty ? Because they changed the screen, and the camera is integrated in the screen.
