I'm a web developer ans I rien multiple instances of various programs simultanouesly and the do a lot of compilation. They run a little slow even is I added RAM to a total of 16gig. So I thouht maybe the cpu is toped.

The i7-5600U is a low voltage processor so naturally runs a little slower than the standard versions but is as good as it gets for your laptop series.
For the uses you describe I can see where you can use as much power as you can get. The only line HP would have that is more powerful would be something like the Zbook Mobile workstation series.
