Hi,
In the manual for my HDX X18-1190EW it says that I can use HDMI port as an output, connecting an LCD TV as an external screen. The question is, does the HDMI port work as an input as well? Suppose I had a high-definition TV signal from an external TV decoder/tuner, can I use the HDMI to view TV programs on the computer screen?

Thank you for your answer.
If that is the case, what can I do to connect a signal from an external IP-TV decoder in order to watch TV on computer screen? The decoder has all kinds of outputs (HDMI, SCART, composite, SPDIF). I suppose I need additional hardware - could you suggest anything?
