Recently, the keyboard on my HP G56-108SA keeps typing the number five. It'll be fine for a couple of minutes but then continuously type the letter five. I took the five key off to check if there was any dirt/if it was stuck but there seems to be nothing there. If anyone has encountered this problem, could they please make a suggestion.
Thanks

Hi Nemo64,
I saw your post about the keyboard troubles. I have included a link to a document regarding troubleshooting the keyboard. I know that you have already removed the 5 key but I would try it again and clean it with a cotton swap, that is the Stuck Keys section of the document. I would also look at “Key press are slow to respond” as well.

If neither of those solutions work then I would look at uninstall and reinstalling the keyboard drivers. I have included two links below. The first will show you how to uninstall a device in device manager and the second is your keyboard or TouchPad driver.
