After trying everything else I could find on the internet I've ended up where I should have probably started. A lot of my friends ask me to fix their comuters but I have never come across this problem before.

HP pavillion DV2000 Windows XP media centre edition - User has forgotten password. Tried disconnecting battery, even left it overnight but still asks for password on booting up. The Hash after 3 failed attempts is '02146'. I have tried several generators but with no success. Any help appreciated.
