I am going to discuss another issue with same machine which i have it for a long time. My DVD player stopped working within a year. I might have wrote 20 DVD's to dump my files and never used besides that. Just that i use this machine for my work so could not even spare time to go/call customaer care. By the time i called they said its out of waranty so my bad luck. Do you think any way to figure out whats wrong. When i insert a disc the disc rotates for a while and wheni click the DVD drive in my computer it ejects the disc saying please insert a disc.
suggestions?

Try this fix-it from Microsoft first.

If you have another laptop, you can remove the suspected faulty drive and try it out in the other machine.
If the front bezel gets in the way, it can easily be removed. (it will work with out the face plate)
Ounce inserted in the other machine, Windows will automatically install the driver for it.

It's a free automated service. You should be able to click on the big green RUN NOW button and continue from there.
You will get a pop-up to allow the application to "run" click "run"
I tried it myself and it doesn't ask for my Windows serial number anywhere.
You need another laptop to try the drive in as it will not fit in a desk top.

Not much else to try.
Go into the task device manager and uninstall the driver _ shut down.
Physically remove the drive from the laptop and boot up and if you go back to the device manager the CD/DVD ROM drive should be gone. Shut down...
Insert the drive back into the laptop and boot up and Windows will reinstall the driver.
Try a retail disk of a movie that you know plays else where.
The other obvious thing is to try carefully cleaning the lens.

Good old Microsoft...
It's highly unlikely that they would be able to do anything either other then to make the very suggestions that I am telling you know.

Lots here to choose from, there's one for 40 bucks where the screen is dead, but the plastic parts and hinges are OK or you can even buy a used complete screen assembly. What ever you do, don't throw away you old broken parts. Even though you think you may never need them, you will need them some day.
Have a good look at the parts on ebay too, make sure they look like your machine.
Here it is here.
On the hinges them selves in most cases there is an adjusting nut, you can lessen the tension on the nut so things don't break again. You need a small vice and a special 4.5 mm wrench. (you can find these wrenches on ebay too)
sometimes lubrictaing the hinges with "Tri-Flow" before assembly will loosen them up a bit.

That display will not fit my model . My model is DV4t-1500. I found one on ebay and its model (part number) is AP03V003I00 will it fit my laptop?
here it is

Sorry for the late reply, Iv'e been very busy outside in the yard.
I see the part in you link sold, so I can assume that you bought it or some one else did _ I am guessing it was you.
Basically anything from a dv4-1000 series should fit providing the screen size is the same.
I can't tell what the exact model is when it comes to the pattern that HP has chosen to put you your particular laptop. In the link you gave me that looks like "Moon Light White", there were a few others that looked like that with other names as well.
To answer you question about the part number; it's impossible for me to tell if that part number (stock number) is the same for you machine, but as I mentioned, if it's a dv4-1000 series it should fit and all you have to worry about is the correct colour/pattern.
