Hello

I have a huge request regarding the low mic volume through realtek dts sound studio, i can see the mic properties shows low bars when i speak into the mic through front panel or through laptop's mic, but when i uninstall the driver of realtek dts sound studio , it works perfect with the mic and have pretty good bars of mic volume.

But a bit low volume through the speakers for sound.

When i connect wifi windows 10 it automatically update the driver realtek dts sound, i need help regarding mic low volume, whether teach me how to stop update the sound driver or get me the solution for low volume mic please.

Thanks and regards

Hello @LeoManinder,

Thank you for the quick reply!

I understand that you already exhausted the steps mentioned in the solution I provided in my previous post.  Then try the following steps, to stop your system from automatically updating the Audio Driver:

  1. Download the Windows 10 "Show or Hide Updates" Troubleshooter Package (http://download.microsoft.com/download/F/2/2/F22D5FDB-59CD-4275-8C95-1BE17BF70B21/wushowhide.diagcab).
  2. Change the Windows Update Services setting from Automatic (Delayed Start) to Manual.
    • In the Control Panel, select Administrative Tools and open Services.
    • Scroll down to Windows Update and double-click it to bring up its properties.
    • Click Stop to stop the service from running.
    • Change the Startup Type to Manual and click OK.
  3. Run the Windows 10 "Show or Hide Updates" Troubleshooter Package and hide updates to the Realtek Audio Driver.  (Doing so will block your system from automatically reinstalling or showing updates the driver.)
  4. Change the Windows Update Services setting from Manual back to Automatic (Delayed Start).
  5. Restart your computer.

Hello @LeoManinder,

Thank you for the quick reply!

I am happy to hear that the issue is resolved.  The Windows Update should continue to provide you updates normally.  The only updates that you should not see, will be for the Audio Driver that is causing the issue.  I hope this helps.

Hello @LeoManinder,

Thank you for the quick reply!

This is a separate issue, or question from the original post.  In the future, please start a new thread, when posting about different issues.  It is best to use the software that is for the current Operating System you are running.  You can download that software here:
