Hi all
I am getting the same "Base system devise " error.
I have a Pavillion DV6700 P/N: KL 090AV and S/N: CNF 82115 MK
I have been running Windows 7 and loaded Windows 8. I then re-loaded Windows 7 and this is when the issue has occurred.
I have done all the updates but nothing seems to sort it out.
Please can some help?
Cheers

Hi, sh69:
You need this driver. That should get 'em all.
