Hello,

Thank you for posting in the HP Support Forum.

- Please, clarify your full HP computer model.

- What do you mean by "brand new laptop" ?  Is it that you purchased your HP computer, started it, finished default Windows 10 installation and then defaultuser0 appears ?

- Or you installed Windows 10 on your own ?  If so, what build you used ?

Personally, I have never seen such an error but my research shows that reinstallation of Windows may be needed.

This error has happened when some older versions of Windows 10 was used and this was some sort of bug in Windows 10.

Please, answer the questions above to clarify the situation.

Thank You!

I today bought a brand new HP desktop. set everyting up all working fine, mircrosoft office, dropbox, windows explorer etc. but when I downloaded icloud app and it asked me to restart I was taken back to the intitial start up screen.  Have turned on and off several times. The microsoft log in details don't respond (but do on another computer) and it will not go past the HP register screen. It seems frozen. Have tried different email addresses and user name in case it senses a double up but no good. Really very annoyed as this was a quick purchase as a back up to another computer that is being fixed and that will now be ready before I'm online with this new purchase.
