HP PAVILION DV6T-3100 NOTEBOOK
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

How can I get HP to help me correct the problem that had persisted on my note book purchased directly from HP with 3 years extended warranty only to suggest that it is probably because of lack of open air ventilation; then perhaps because it is clogged with lint or dust inside; then later on after much trys for tech help they claim it is now out of warranty.

Hey there! @tchellaram, Welcome to HP forums.

I understand your PC is getting overheated and the fan is making a loud noise.

Don't worry I'd like to help you out.

Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?

Please update the BIOs on your PC and check if it helps.

Link to update BIOS.

Refer this article to further troubleshoot fan noisy issues.

If the issue still persists after trying out the steps it is a hardware issue, please contact HP support for service options.
